Departure time and how long you stay at each island may vary depending on your hotel location, sea and weather conditions, traffic, and the pace you prefer on the day.
Meet your English speaking driver at your hotel and set off in a private Innova Reborn, heading west toward the quiet fishing harbour of Sekotong in southwest Lombok.
Board your own chartered boat and leave the harbour for the three secret gilis, well away from the busier northern crossings.
Unhurried snorkelling above coral gardens in calm, clear water. This is the reef divers come here for, and you have a full hour and a half over it.
A quiet island framed by soft white sand. Take a second snorkelling session, or simply spend the time on the shore.
A freshly prepared lunch eaten at a leisurely pace, looking out over the turquoise water. No queue, no set sitting.
The largest of the three islands, with time to walk the shoreline, rest under the trees, or take one last swim before the crossing home.
Leave Gili Gede with the late afternoon light on the water, arriving back at Sekotong Harbour around five.

Times shift with the sea and the weather. If the crossing is rough on the day, we move the boat leg or swap it for an equivalent trip on land rather than take you out in poor conditions.

We run two island hopping days out of Sekotong and they are not the same trip. Tell us your dates and who is travelling, and we will tell you honestly which of the two fits better.
Ask About My DatesThey are two different sets of islands, both reached from Sekotong. This day goes to Gili Asahan, Gili Layar and Gili Gede, further along the southwest coast, with a longer time in the water at each stop and very few other boats around. Our Gili Nanggu, Gili Sudak and Gili Kedis day is the shorter crossing, closer in, and the sandbank at Gili Kedis is the photograph people come back with. If you want more snorkelling and more quiet, take this one. If you are short on driving time or travelling with small children, take the other.
Your booking is confirmed once we receive your down payment. The down payment is flexible, with a minimum of 15% of the total, and it is what locks in your car and your boat for that date. The balance is settled on the day, at pickup. Payment is by bank transfer to the official CV Lombok Travelution company account, and we send you those details when we confirm your booking. Please never transfer to a personal account.

We do not take guests out in poor conditions, and the boat crew makes that call in the morning rather than halfway across. If the crossing is unsafe we either move your boat day to another date that works for you, or replace it with an equivalent day on land, whichever you prefer. Either way you do not pay more for the change.
Rescheduling is free, at any time, with no deadline and no limit on how many times. Your down payment moves to the new date, subject to car and boat availability. If the price is higher on the new date you cover the difference, which is a seasonal price difference rather than a reschedule fee. For cancellations, refunds are calculated from what you have actually paid: 100% if you cancel 30 days or more before the tour, 60% between 29 and 17 days, 20% between 16 and 10 days, and no refund from 9 days before the tour onwards.
Because the car and the boat cost the same whether two people travel or ten, so the cost divides further across a larger group. Ten people pay IDR 475,000 each; two people pay IDR 2,100,000 for the pair, which works out at IDR 1,050,000 each. Every step in between is shown in the table above, with nothing hidden. If you are two and the figure feels steep, tell us your dates anyway. Sometimes another small group is running the same route and we can put you in touch.
You do not need to swim. Snorkelling is optional, life jackets are on the boat, and plenty of guests spend those hours on deck or on the sand instead. The thing to weigh is the length of the day: pickup is at eight in the morning and you are back in the early evening, with two boat crossings in between. Tell us who is travelling and we will be straight with you about whether it suits them.
All three sit off Sekotong, in southwest Lombok, roughly an hour by boat from Sekotong Harbour. They are a different part of the island from the well known Gili Trawangan group in the north, and from Pink Beach in the east. That distance is the whole point: on most days you will share Gili Layar with almost nobody.
